Since his early win in Iowa, Huckabee has sunk lower and lower on the political radar. His huge win today in winner-take-all West Virginia earns the former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee 18 delegates towards the Republican presidential nominee convention.

Moving on to Georgia–although the votes won’t be counted for hours, Huckabee and McCain look to have left Romney in the dust.

What does this means? There still are three candidates fighting for the Republican nominations. Romney, while last week was comfortable in his position as the alternative GOP conservative, is now in a head to head with Huckabee—both snapping a McCain’s heals.
