MERCER ISLAND, WA- The entrance to the Island Park Elementary School gymnasium was crowded with bodies this afternoon waiting to enter to caucus for the Democratic party.
“We’ve been extremely conservative for all these years,” stated Howard Miller, who has lived on Mercer Island for 51 years. “It’s wonderful to see this turnout for the Democrats.”
Both the Obama and Clinton camps were expecting a large turnout at the caucus.
“We expect to blow the doors off,” Kasha Rogovy, the Obama campaign leader at Island Park exclaimed.
