Governor Gregoire: Fired up, ready to go!

3:20 pm February 9th, 2008 by Celiah · 1 Comment

I just had a chance to speak to Governor Christine Gregoire. She made clear her views: “”This is the most exciting election since I was fired up for [John F.] Kennedy,” she said.

Yesterday the governor endorsed Barack Obama at his Rally for Change at the Key Arena. It was a decision, she said, that was not easy: “We have two excellent candidates and both make history.”

It seems that Gregoire is inspired, like so many others, by Obama’s hope and charisma. As the election process moves on, a nomination will be secured for the Democratic candidate very soon, and the American people are appearing to lean toward the Democratic side, but nothing is decided.

“There’s no relaxing,” said Gregoire. “We have to work hard everyday to get a Democratic President in the White House.”

Here is a video of Gregoire speaking to the press at Catherine Blaine Elementary School.

    Governor Gregoire,

I’m sorry we voted you into your position.

Obama is all about hype, not the details that are needed to effect a real change.

If Obama becomes the primary winner, we are all going to miss out on a monumental opportunity to make Hillary Clinton our next president.

Shame on you for endorsing by “Hype” alone.

-Party who wishes they wouldn’t have voted for you.
