The calm atmosphere at Pacific Freshman Campus in Issaquah never wavered today as people filed in and filed out, feeling confident in their choices.

Precinct caucus chair Steve Ruly wasn’t surprised by how cordial the event was.

“It’s very local and people live within two to three blocks of each other,” Ruly said. “For me, it was a great way to meet my neighbors.”

In a few hours time, Dems. from the 5th precinct will meet in Area Caucus Coordinator Hank Thomas’s living room to compare their results.
