At about 11:30 a few people began flowing into Catherine Blaine Elementary School where the caucus will be held for the 36th Legislative District.
26 precincts will be convening here to decide who will get their delegates.
As of yet, the caucus is a little disorganized. There are four different rooms in which several different precincts will meet. One of the rooms is not unlocked yet, while the other three are beginning to see some organization.
As people begin to show up, a few of them are being roped into volunteering to help with setup, while a few have decided to come back closer to 1 pm.
Janis Traven, the area caucus coordinator, said that four years ago, they had 600 people here, but they are expecting 1,000 this year. “But we really have no idea what to expect,” she added.
As more people begin to show up, we will update shortly.
Here are some pictures to get an idea of what is going on.
