As of 7:30pm with 87% of precincts reporting, the results are as follows:
Mike Huckabee – 640 (19.25%)
John McCain – 1,057 (31.8%)
Ron Paul – 612 (18.41%)
Mitt Romney – 484 (14.56%)
Uncommitted – 520 (15.64%)
Others – 11 (0.33%)
“Some of my longtime Caucus Leaders tell me this was the best attended and most enthusiastic caucus in memory,” said KCGOP Chairman Michael Young. “Crowds were upbeat, motivated and attendance far beyond any expectation we had.”
“The most remarkable aspect of this year’s turnout was the huge surge in young people and first time caucus attendees,” said Chairman Young.
The King County Republican Party will continue to report numbers as the night progresses.
