After an introduction by Texas Representative Mark Strama, M. Obama thanked everyone for all of their support and for coming, yet addressed the crowd with a sense of urgency when she talked about the importance of making phonecalls and knocking on doors in support of her husband, Barack Obama.
Amazed at how much progress the progress the campaign had made in only a year, M. Obama said her husband will be the underdog in this race until it’s over, and acknowledged change is hard for people but encouraged them to stick it out till’ the end - possibly only one more day.
“He will be the underdog in this race until he is sitting in the oval office,” said M. Obama.
