Sen. John McCain will be coming to town. 

Again. 

Or at least that’s the scuttlebutt at Politicker WA:

Presidential candidate John McCain (R-Ariz.), the presumptive Republican nominee, is expected to come to Seattle in two weeks for a global warming event in what will be his first visit to the state since the Feb. 9 caucuses when he visited the Seattle Westin on a routine campaign stop.

Apparently, McCain thinks his Western roots and outreach efforts to Democrats will keep the Mountain West in play this summer and fall. This will be especially important if he faces Obama, whose strategy is focused on the West.
