Former candidate for the nomination, John Edwards was on CBS’ “Face the Nation” yesterday where, while he has not endorsed a candidate, he made it clear that things aren’t looking good for Senator Clinton.
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton “has to be really careful that she’s not damaging our prospects” by staying in the contest against Senator Barack Obama. […] “You can no longer make a compelling case for the math,” Mr. Edwards said, referring to delegate totals that increasingly favor Mr. Obama. “The math is very, very hard for her.”
Every day it seems that more and more super-delegates side with Sen. Obama, and Sen. Clinton has been likened to Mike Huckabee, who stayed in the race even after it became clear he couldn’t win.
