I’m obsessed with the number five today. Five days until the West Virginia primary. Time Magazine’s Top-Five Mistakes Clinton made. Five opponents possibly taken down by Obama. Yeah, I’m stretching it, but I thought this would be a great opportunity to make a top-five list of my favorite political cartoons of the presidential race so […]

Where did Clinton go wrong?
May 8th, 2008 · 3 Comments
With Hillary Clinton’s chances at presidency evaporating, I’ve sat here last two hours wondering how this could have happened; especially against an opponent who argued that experience isn’t an advantage. In February, former president Bill Clinton said of this argument “It’s been very effective. It’s already taken four good candidates out. It would have taken […]

No endorsement from John and Elizabeth Edwards
May 7th, 2008 · 3 Comments
John Edwards may have had a big influence on his home state’s voting on Tuesday if he’d endorsed a Democratic candidate before the primary, but the former North Carolina senator hasn’t made public his support for either one. Of course, Barack Obama already beat Hillary Clinton by more than ten points in the state […]

Clinton K.O.’d?
May 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Hillary Clinton has likened herself to Rocky - she’s a fighter. She never gives up. She’s even signed boxing gloves for supporters.
But has Barack Obama finally knocked her out?
The numbers from Indiana and North Carolina suggest that yes, he has. Sure, Clinton won Indiana, but earning 51% of the vote to Obama’s […]

Obama projected to win North Carolina
May 6th, 2008 · No Comments
CNN is projecting that Barack Obama will win North Carolina tonight, and their early numbers are showing… well, kind of a landslide.
With only 15% of precincts reporting, CNN shows Obama with 63% of the vote to Clinton’s 35%.
They’re saying it’s still “too early” to call Indiana, although CBS has projected Clinton will win the state.
CNN’s […]

Another Stevie Wonder Video Clip
INDIANAPOLIS-This one was a rock concert. Literally. The legendary musician Stevie Wonder took the stage prior to Barack Obama addressing a crowd of roughly 20,000 at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis.
The rock and roll hall of fame musician got the crowd fired up for Obama. He even had some […]

At least when it comes to the gas tax, according to a new campaign video.
Found over on Politico, the advertisement (posted below) asks “What has happened to Barack Obama?” and states directly, “He’s attacking Hillary’s plan to give you a break on gas prices because he doesn’t have one.”
As far as political ads go, this […]

Economists & Clinton don’t see eye to eye
May 5th, 2008 · 2 Comments
We’ve talked about the gas tax quite a bit already; basically the plan proposed by John McCain and supported by Hillary Clinton has been judged to be terrible by economists.
Hillary Clinton doesn’t seem to agree with these economists who have said the gas tax won’t lower the price of gas and just let the oil […]
